Come on out to Manakin Market this Saturday for our Chef at the Market Chef’s Demo with Chef Christine, owner of Mise en Place! Chef Christine will be making Zucchini Grilled Cheese and Simple Corn Soup with Chive Parsley Pistou – all fresh from the market!
We have a special treat at the market this week, as we join the Goochland Chamber of Commerce for their 3rd Annual Cornhole Tournament! The tournament runs from Noon-4pm, and many of our market vendors are staying put. We’ll have beer and wine available for purchase by the glass, as well as Grandpa Eddie’s Bar-B-Que and Northern Neck Oyster Truck (who will also have crabcakes).
The weather is going to be in the low 80’s with low humidity. You don’t want to miss this fun event!!!
If you can’t make it out on Saturdays, don’t forget that the Goochland Fairground Farmers Market is open on Tuesdays, 3:30-6:30pm at the corner of Fairground Road and Rt. 522 in Goochland Courthouse!
